Roll Blade Grider

Job Overview
Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Blade Grinder to join their dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating this advanced machine within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to perform setup and adjustments.

REQUIRED SHIFTS:

 Afternoon Shift 3pm-11pm

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate grinding machines to accurately shape and sharpen roll blades according to specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining instructions
• Use calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances
• Perform quality inspections on finished blades to verify conformity with standards
• Maintain equipment, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
• Assist with assembly or other manufacturing tasks as required
• Document work processes and inspection results accurately

Skills

• Proficiency in CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, plasma cutting, press brake machines, welding, and machining techniques
• Experience operating cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery preferred
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong math skills for measurements and calculations
• Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, and quality inspection procedures
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including assembly and quality control standards
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of CNC operations and programming is a plus

Pay $25.00 plus Shift Premium .50cents
